Shady Grove Farmers Market Returns to Campus

People Gather at farmers market

From candles to pickles, you’ll be able to find it at the Shady Grove Farmers Market.

The Shady Grove Farmers Market is returning for another season at the Johns Hopkins University’s Montgomery County Campus.

The lunchtime market will be held 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wednesdays, May 7 through Oct. 29.

Vendors -- including local farmers -- will sell vegetables, fresh fruit, meat, eggs, pasta, baked goods, jewelry, candles and crafts. Last year, food trucks became a popular staple of the farmers market. Look out for your favorites again this year, including Go Fish and Hardys BBQ.

The market is located in our parking lot at the corner of Key West Avenue and Broschart Road. Parking is free.

Cash, credit cards and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program payment methods are accepted.

The market is sponsored by the Johns Hopkins University Montgomery County Campus.
