NALCO Consulting Joins Campus Tenants
A new company on campus specializes in recruiting employees for companies in the biotechnology, information technology and legal sectors.
NALCO Consulting is a professional recruiting firm that started in the information technology sector and has since expanded to other areas. The company was founded in 2011 by Benjamin Nash, managing partner, and Keith Levin, president.
Nash, from Washington, D.C., brings with him a background in business and real estate; Levin, from Baltimore, has a background in information technology. The company also has four specialized recruiters.
Nash and Levin are now based at the Johns Hopkins University Montgomery County Campus.
Though many companies have human resources departments of their own, recruiting candidates, screening them and performing preliminary interviews is extremely time consuming, Nash said. That’s where NALCO steps in, helping executives and human resources departments with these tasks. “NALCO Consulting understands the complexities of recruiting and in-house operations,” Nash said. “Acquiring superior staff is one of our specialties, and we are committed to upholding the strictest talent screening standards.”
NALCO works with about 50 companies nationwide, with the majority of them headquartered in the D.C. area.
NALCO is one of approximately 35 companies located on the JHU Montgomery County Campus. Other companies focus on scientific and medical research, health care, technology, medical device developments and more.
