eDoctor, Inc., Announces New Suite of Healthcare IT Services for Physicians
eDoctor, Inc., which is located on the JHU Montgomery County Campus, recently debuted its new Meaningful Use-certified Ambulatory OpenEMR 4.1. This new, state-of-the-art Web-based software system provides a comprehensive practice management, clinical management, and electronic billing system for physicians.
“Our electronic medical records solution provides a complete Healthcare IT suite that will streamline productivity, enhance patient safety, and earn Meaningful Use incentives,” said Se Kang, President, eDoctor.
Integrated within the new OpenEMR system is e-Prescribing, the iON Laboratory Order and Entry System, and eDoctor’s new Patient Appointment and Management System.
“Our Open EMR system is better than other EMRs for two reasons,” Kang said. “First, doctors are allowed to keep their patient data. Second, it comes with our Patient Appointment and Management System, a unique online portal which allows patients to search for doctors and book appointments online.
“It's an affordable solution to increase efficiency and safety,” he said.
The Open EMR suite also includes a robust patient data migration service, which will help practices that have to switch Healthcare IT platforms due to regulatory pressure or participation in federal incentive programs.
“Our mission is to ease doctors' worries about the technology behind their practices and keep their patients safe,” Kang added.
eDoctor currently provides Healthcare IT services to more than 3,500 healthcare providers in 36 states.
