AAP Offers Career Services at Montgomery County Campus
Colleen Connolly McCusker, director of Career Services, is available to help you:
- develop a focused job search strategy
- create a targeted resume
- develop other self-marketing tools including cover letter materials, portfolio and “pitch”
- improve interviewing skills
- negotiate a job offer
Colleen is based at the DC campus, 1717 Massachusetts Ave NW Suite 104, but meets with students at theMontgomery County Campus on alternate Thursdays in the AAP suite in Gilchrist Hall.

Appointments must be made through Appointments-plus, AAP’s on-line appointment calendar. Appointments can be made up to two weeks in advance; next-day appointments must be made by 5 PM. If you have not already done so, you will need to register at https://booknow.appointment-plus.com/6hpkx4qx/ and then select an appointment location and time.
There are three calendars, one for each campus.
Please be sure to indicate the primary objective for the meeting (assistance updating a resume, writing a cover letter, preparing for an interview, etc.) and send your resume and other documents, as explained in the Appointment-plus instructions. Alumni who are no longer located in the MCC area can schedule online appointments.
Colleen meets with online students Monday-Wednesday via phone or Skype. When you schedule a virtual appointment, please choose the “Washington DC” calendar.
