Biotechnology Center Open House and Research Symposium

5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 4

The Office of Admissions would like to invite you to attend our On-Site Open House for our Biotechnology Center programs. This presentation will describe the programs and the faculty, as well as admissions requirements. You may utilize this opportunity to ask questions about the program and discover what you can do with a degree from Johns Hopkins. (5-6 p.m.)

Immediately following the open house, we invite you to attend our reception at 6 p.m. with faculty, staff, and new & current students followed by our symposium with Sarah Anzick at 7pm. Anzick’s family is credited for discovering the “Anzick child” on their ranch. The Anzick child is a 12,700 year old skeleton (oldest known in North America) and Sarah and a group in Copenhagen sequenced the genome and did some comparisons with other genomes. (6-8 p.m.)
